What DURITex testing shows.
Explore the studies and operational records behind DURITex. See what was tested, how it was evaluated and what was observed—so you can decide which evidence is relevant to your application and what still needs product-specific validation.
Technical reports explain what was tested in controlled or monitored conditions. For firsthand product experiences, watch the user testimonials on the homepage.

Evidence paths for your product decision.
See the tested material and observed finding for treated fabric, laundered textile, material response, laundry-site sampling and filter-system measurements. Each gives your team a starting point for a product-specific evaluation.
UTMB treated-fabric study

What was tested
DURITex-bonded polycotton fabric was compared with untreated fabric in SARS-CoV-2 contact testing under laboratory conditions.
What was reported
Versus untreated fabric, the tested DURITex-bonded 80/20 polycotton showed SARS-CoV-2 reductions of 1 log10 at 15 minutes, 1.8 log10 at 30 minutes, 2.5 log10 at 45 minutes and approximately 3.5 log10 at one hour. At two hours, titres were below the study's detection limit of 30 PFU/sample. These are laboratory contact-test findings for that fabric.
What this shows
A documented demonstration of antiviral activity on that treated fabric, giving your product team a basis for a targeted validation plan.
100-wash textile summary
Controlled textile summary · request the evidence package for study details
What was tested
A treated knitted-fabric swatch after the documented home-laundering cycles, tested against Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
What was reported
The controlled summary reports antibacterial reduction on the tested swatch after laundering. Request the evidence package for organism-specific results and test conditions.
What this shows
Antibacterial activity was reported for the tested swatch after laundering. Use this as a starting point when designing a care-protocol study for your textile.
NAMSA material-safety studies
Specific treated-textile samples · request the evidence package for study details
What was evaluated
A specific treated textile sample was evaluated using intracutaneous-response and sensitization tests citing ISO 10993-10 (2010). The reports state testing complied with ISO 13485 and used an ISO 17025-accredited method.
What was reported
For that sample, the intracutaneous test-minus-control mean score difference was 0.0 for each of two extracts, meeting that test's requirements. The sensitization study found no evidence of delayed dermal contact sensitization and did not consider the tested article a sensitizer in that test. These results inform review of your intended construction and exposure scenario.
Laundry-site sampling and filter records
Configuration-specific operational evidence · request the evidence package for record details
RODAC laundry-site observations
UiTM laboratory certificates document Bacillus cereus RODAC surface sampling on laundry equipment, linens at selected workflow points and DURITex-labelled linens. The recorded samples provide a site-specific sampling reference, separate from the controlled 100-wash textile summary. Request the evidence package for more about the sampling context.
Airflow and filtration fit
Separate filter and air-system records address particulate classification and airflow for their own configurations. Your engineers can use them to plan compatibility and pressure-drop checks for the product you intend to build.
02 / Validation & Licensing
Moving from evidence to finished product.
These tested-material findings provide a foundation for your finished-article validation. From there, we can shape a licensing path around your specific application.
The DURITex Licensing Path
If your application moves forward after validation, you purchase the DURITex liquid and license the application method. Product claims and evidence needs are shaped around the finished application you bring.
03 / Communication
Optional configurable DPP.
After technology fit and validation, the optional DPP layer can help carry the approved product story forward.
The DPP is an optional tool that comes after technology fit and validation. It gives your customers a clear, configurable view of the approved finished-article information you choose to share.
